Welcome to Lone Star Dance Co., where passion meets movement! Founded in Liberty Hill’s School of Music two years ago, we opened our own studio May 1, 2025 to support our growing dance family. Lone Star Dance Co (formerly known as Lone Star Performance Academy) is Liberty Hill’s home for beginner-friendly dance and baton twirling classes. Build a strong foundation in dance while learning two classic styles! Dancers will develop coordination, balance, flexibility, rhythm, and confidence through the graceful technique of ballet and the energetic fun of tap. This class is perfect for beginners and returning dancers alike.
Recommended Attire: Leotard, tights, and ballet skirt (preferred). Ballet shoes and tap shoes required
This class blends the high-energy style of jazz with the emotion and artistry of lyrical dance. Dancers will work on turns, leaps, flexibility, musicality, and performance quality while exploring both upbeat routines and expressive choreography. A great class for dancers ready to build confidence and versatility.
Recommended Attire: Fitted dancewear or athletic clothing that allows movement. Jazz shoes, half soles, or dance socks may be worn.
Dance & Twirl
Ages 3+
The perfect introduction to both dance and baton twirling! Students will learn basic ballet and jazz movements alongside beginner baton skills in a fun, encouraging environment. This class develops coordination, rhythm, confidence, and creativity while introducing two exciting performing arts in one class.

Recommended Attire: Fitted dancewear or athletic clothing. Jazz shoes are encouraged. Batons will be available for free trials to use, twirlers signing up for class will purchase their own through iClass!
Designed for older dancers looking to strengthen their technique, this class focuses on proper ballet fundamentals, flexibility, balance, strength, and artistry. Whether you're new to ballet or looking to refine your skills, this class provides the technical foundation that benefits every style of dance.
Recommended Attire: Leotard, tights, and ballet skirt (preferred), or fitted athletic wear that allows instructors to see body alignment. Ballet shoes required.
Lights, music, action! This high-energy class combines acting, singing, and dancing to introduce students to the exciting world of musical theatre. Students will work on choreography, character development, stage presence, expression, and performance skills through age-appropriate songs and scenes from popular musicals.
No previous singing, acting, or dance experience is required, just a willingness to perform, be creative, and have fun! This class is perfect for students who love the stage or want to build their confidence and performance skills.

Recommended Attire: Comfortable clothing that allows students to move, dance, and perform freely. Jazz shoes are not required, but they could be a fun addition to the class as we explore different styles of musical theatre!
